Kreis Schlochau
(powiat człuchowski)
Kreis Schlochau (Schlochau county) was a district of Prussia from from 1818 - 1945.
Its capital was Schlochau (Człuchów). From 1918 - 1922 Schlochau belonged to the Province of Westpreußen (West Prussia) and from 1922 - 1945 it belonged to the Province Grenzmark Posen-Westpreußen. In 1939, the district was renamed from Kreis Schlochau to Landkreis Schlochau, in the course of uniforming the administrative terminology in all the states of Prussia. Today, the former district is named powiat człuchowski and is located in the Polish Pomeranian Voivodeship.
At the end of its existence in 1945, the district of Schlochau comprised five towns and 71 other municipalities:
